Job summary

Maine Township High School District 207 is seeking a Clinical Instructor to supervise CNA students during clinical rotations totaling 50-60 hours. The role runs through the 26-27 school year with rotations January–March 2027, including Wednesday 3:45 pm–8:15 pm and alternate Saturdays 7:30 am–3:30 pm.

The instructor will guide students through patient care, infection control, vital signs, and CNA skills, ensuring safety and program compliance.

Qualifications

Active RN license in Illinois
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
Current CPR/BLS certification
4 hours of Alzheimer's training
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Familiarity with state CNA training requirements and regulations

Responsibilities

Provide clinical instruction to CNA students in a clinical setting, adhering to state and institutional guidelines
Demonstrate and supervise essential CNA skills, including patient care, personal hygiene, infection control, and vital signs
Oversee student performance, offer constructive feedback, and assess skills
Communicate with CNA instructor to ensure students meet program requirements for clinicals
Prepare clinical sites and ensure a safe, conducive learning environment for students
Evaluate and document student progress in line with the program's curriculum
