Job summary

Maine Township High School District 207 seeks Clinical Instructors to guide CNA students through the clinical portion (50-60 hours) of their training. Rotations run Jan–March 2027, with sessions on Wednesdays and Saturdays every other week.

Ideal candidates hold an Illinois RN license, have at least 3 years of clinical experience, and current CPR/BLS certification. Alzheimer’s training is required; strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Illinois RN license is required and must be active.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• 4 hours of Alzheimer’s training required.
• Familiarity with state CNA training requirements and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction to CNA students in a clinical setting following state and district guidelines.
• Demonstrate and supervise CNA skills (patient care, personal hygiene, infection control, vital signs).
• Oversee student performance, provide constructive feedback, and assess skills.
• Communicate with CNA instructor to ensure students meet program requirements for clinicals.
• Prepare clinical sites and maintain a safe, conducive learning environment.
• Document and evaluate student progress in line with the curriculum.
