The Guidance Center Inc is seeking a School Based Clinician to deliver intake assessments, psychotherapy, and treatment planning for students within local school districts in Kansas. The role emphasizes collaboration with school staff and ongoing referrals to outpatient services as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required with Kansas licensure by the first day of employment.
• Two semesters of practicum in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide intake assessments and initial treatment planning.
• Provide psychotherapy (individual, family, and group) and ongoing treatment planning.
• Refer to TGC outpatient services for testing, reporting, medication management, and case management.
• Coordinate with school administrators and social work staff.
• Continue psychotherapy during summer at the outpatient office.
• Provide daytime crisis services as needed.
• Observe student behavior and give feedback to teachers.
• Train school district staff on mental health topics.
• Ensure services comply with clinical guidelines and regulations.
