Job summary

Hartgrove Behavioral Health System, via the Schoolhouse Counseling Center, seeks a Clinical Therapist to perform intakes and provide diagnostic and treatment planning. You will deliver therapy to children, adolescents and adults in clinic settings across the Chicago area and maintain a robust clinical caseload.

The role requires a MA/MS or MSW in relevant field, at least one year of clinical experience, and IL licensure is preferred. It is a full-time, field-based position with day shifts.

Qualifications

• Education: MA/MS in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology or MSW is required.
• Experience: One year clinical experience within an inpatient/outpatient/school-based setting; the one year can be a training experience as well.
• Licensure/Certification: LPC/LSW or LCPC/LCSW in Illinois preferred
• Knowledge: Hospital safety policies, crisis and behavioral management; excellent communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial intake assessments and provide preliminary diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions to children, adolescents and adults in the clinic setting.
• Develop initial and updated therapy treatment plans to guide the client's clinical treatment.
• Develop and maintain a clinical caseload while coordinating with administrative staff for scheduling.
• Maintain and submit documentation as well as billing submissions under outpatient services standards.
• Engage in clinical consultation with the treatment team and ensure census requirements.
