Job summary

APA Family Support Services in San Francisco provides school-linked, educationally related mental health services (ERMHS) to students with IEPs, under clinical supervision. The ASW delivers therapy, case management, and psychosocial assessments, collaborating with schools to support emotional, behavioral, and educational goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of post graduate, professional clinical experience serving children, youth and their families.
• Master’s degree or higher in Human Services or related fields (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, MFT, MH Counseling).
• Knowledge of child abuse and the child welfare system in California.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or group therapy to students as directed by the Clinical Director.
• Complete psychosocial assessments and treatment plans per ERMHS guidelines.
• Maintain an average caseload of 16-20 clients per school year.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff and families.
• Maintain HIPAA/FERPA compliant communication with school personnel.
