Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field is required.
• MA license in a clinical field (LMHC, LCSW, LICSW) is required or license-eligible with plan within one year.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in counseling or related clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct clinical services, e.g., individual and/or group therapy as outlined in IEPs and treatment plans.
• Primary contact for parents/guardians; offers family outreach when needed.
• Manages case calls and documentation; coordinates attendance and home visits as required.
• Develops individual treatment plans/behavioral plans and attends school meetings.
• Provides emergency clinical services including referrals for psychiatric crises.
• Liaises with outside agencies and school personnel; represents program at meetings.
• Oversees annual intake packets for students on caseload.
• Arranges appointments and accompanies students to psychiatry visits when needed.
• Writes clinical summaries, case notes, IEP goals, and progress reports as requested.
