Job summary

Northern Pines Mental Health Center seeks a Mental Health Professional or Clinical Trainee to join its Children and Families team. The role focuses on delivering clinical services to youth and families with strong emphasis on collaborative treatment planning and coordination with schools and community partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in Behavioral Sciences (e.g., Clinical Counseling, Psychology, Social Work).
• Licensure: independently licensed or license eligible; master’s level clinicians pursuing licensure encouraged.
• Experience working with children and ability to provide empirically supported psychotherapy.

Responsibilities

• Perform intakes, diagnostic assessments, individual/group/family therapy, crisis intervention, and skills training.
• Develop treatment plans within the first three sessions, including family involvement and cultural considerations.
• Complete 3rd-party billing tasks and obtain prior authorizations as needed.
• Ensure timely paperwork within 24 hours of service delivery.
• Provide clinical supervision and conduct 90-day treatment plan reviews with the team.
