Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group, LLC is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time school-based assignment in Wilmington, DE. The position offers on-site work with a 35-hour workweek, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, PK-12 district-wide coverage, and $57.00–$60.00 per hour pay.

Start ASAP with an end date of 6/11/2027. You will provide direct services, participate in FBAs, BIPs, IEPs, data collection, and consultation with school teams, while coaching staff and supervising RBTs as needed.

Qualifications

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - School Services

Full-Time | School-Based Assignment | $57.00-$60.00/hour | Wilmington, DE

Deliver high-quality, student-centered ABA services across a PK-12 district-supporting students with diverse and complex needs from day one.

Assignment Overview

Location: Wilmington, DE

Pay Rate:$57.00-$60.00 per hour

Start Date: ASAP (9/11/2026)

End Date: 6/11/2027

Setting: On-site, full-time - no remote worktime

Weekly Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, 35 billable hours/week
  • 7.5 billable hours/day + a 30-minute unpaid break
  • Daily window: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Grade Levels: PK-12, district-wide

What You'll Do
  • Provide direct services to students across assigned caseloads
  • Assist with Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) as needed
  • Assist with Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as needed
  • Assist with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed
  • Collect and analyze behavioral data to guide programming
  • Provide consultation to school teams as needed
  • Shadow, train, and coach classroom and support staff as needed
  • Supervise staff, including Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), as needed
Candidate Expectations

This role calls for flexibility and a willingness to meet students where they are. Candidates should be open to:

  • Working with students of all ages, PK through 12
  • Working with students with behavioral needs, autism, emotional disturbance (ED), and/or other health impairments (OHI)
  • Working across both General Education and Special Education settings
  • Working with medically fragile students
  • Supporting all caseloads and behavior profiles
  • A caseload that may shift based on district need, including reassignment to any school site within the district
Qualifications
  • Current BCBA certification, in good standing (required)
  • Comfort working on-site full-time in a school-based setting
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with school personnel and families
  • Commitment to ethical, compassionate, student-centered care
