Job summary

CenClear is hiring a School Based Behavioral Health Technician to support children and families through CSBBH. The role is based at Juniata Valley Elementary School with travel within the local community. It is a full-time hourly non-exempt position offering meaningful clinical work and collaboration with school staff.

You will provide direct behavioral health support, develop treatment plans, and participate in crisis triage as part of a comprehensive CSBBH team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, education, criminal justice, or a related human services field.
• Bachelor's degree in any other field plus one year of direct work with children or adolescents.
• Certification to provide BHT services (BCaBA, RBT, BCAT or NCCA/ANSI).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings.
• Reliable transportation for community-based work.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours as needed.
• Must obtain PA State Police, PA Child Abuse, FBI history, and Mandated Reporter.

Responsibilities

• Work 40 hours per week, year-round at the Juniata Valley Elementary School and local community.
• Provide behavioral health support to students using diverse treatment approaches.
• Be available during school hours and two evenings per week.
• Conduct functional assessments and develop strengths-based treatment plans.
• Complete progress notes and maintain documentation.
• Apply trauma-informed care principles and collaborate with school staff.

Education

Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, education, criminal justice, or a related human services field

Bachelor's degree in any other field plus at least one year of full-time paid experience working directly with children or adolescents
