Job summary

CenClear is seeking an Outpatient Therapist to deliver mental health and substance use disorder services in a split setting between Philipsburg Area School District and Philipsburg, PA. The role supports individuals and families within a multidisciplinary team, emphasizing client goals, confidentiality, and evidence-based practice.

Full-time preferred (40 hours/week) with some evenings; part-time fee-for-service option also available.

Qualifications

  • Licensed in PA as LPC, LCSW or LMFT with current credentials.
  • Graduate degree from an accredited program with clinical practicum.
  • Experience in treating substance use and mental disorders.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings.
  • Clearances required prior to hire: PA State Police, PA Child Abuse, FBI, Mandated Reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide mental health and substance use disorder outpatient therapy to individuals and families.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to support client goals.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with identified modalities.
  • Ensure ongoing communication among treatment team, families, and other providers.
  • Participate in trainings and supervision; attend psychiatric supervision twice a month.

About the Role:

We are seeking an Outpatient Therapist to provide mental health and substance use disorder services to individuals and families while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support client goals. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to confidentiality in a behavioral health setting.

Ideal candidates demonstrate empathy, strong communication and listening skills, and the ability to maintain appropriate boundaries while delivering client care.

What You'll Do:
  • Full-time position: work 40 hours per week, 52 weeks a year (some evenings as needed); part-time available
  • Provide high-quality therapeutic services to clients and families in collaboration with other members of the treatment team.
  • Adhere to state and funding source regulations and guidelines.
  • Develops individualized treatment plans with identified treatment modality
  • Assures that ongoing communication and collaboration occurs among all treatment team members and other necessary staff, as well as family members and other providers as appropriate.
  • Participates in required in-house and appropriate out-of-house trainings
  • Identifies ongoing areas of professional development and learning opportunities.
  • Actively participates in and receives supervision from assigned supervisor
  • Attend required psychiatric supervision twice a month
What We're Looking For:
  • Current licensing in this Pennsylvania Commonwealth as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT; or
  • Has a graduate degree from a college or university that is accredited by an agency recognized by the United Stated Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education (CHEA) in a generally recognized clinical discipline in which the degree program includes a clinical practicum.; or
  • Has a bachelor's degree from a college or university that is accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the CHEA in a recognized clinical discipline including social work, psychology, nursing, rehabilitation or activity therapies; and
  • Experience working with individuals with substance use and mental disorders.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings to meet client needs.
  • Must obtain the following clearances prior to hire: PA State Police Criminal History, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Criminal History, and Mandated Reporting Certificate
