Job summary

Beacon Services of Connecticut is seeking a School Based Behavior Technician in Stratford, CT to support students with autism in public schools. You will implement teaching and behavioral plans, work one-on-one with students, and help progress social, language, and academic skills.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or related field, plus driving capability. A $1000 sign-on incentive and tuition support are offered, with pay starting at $23+ per hour based on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, human services or related field.
• Experience utilizing principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) a plus.
• Must have personal vehicle to travel.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to help improve social, language and academic skills.
• Implement teaching and behavioral protocols, providing continuity of programming.
• Record and summarize all educational and behavioral data.
• Assigned to a student for up to 184 school days and the entire school day.
