Verbal Behavior Associates is hiring Behavior Technicians to deliver ABA therapy in schools across San Juan Capistrano and nearby communities. You will work 1:1 with students, building communication, self-help, social, and play skills under the guidance of BCBAs.

Shifts follow school-day hours (roughly 7:30 AM–3:30 PM). Both part-time and full-time options exist; full-time starts at 30 hours/week. We offer paid RBT training, health insurance, 401(k), and other benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 18+
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver9s license
• Availability at least 3 weekdays, 7:30 AM3:30 PM
• Pass Live Scan background check and TB test; provide proof of MMR and TDap vaccination
• We pay for training to earn RBT certification; non-billable time paid at prevailing minimum wage

Join a team of mission-driven Behavior Technicians bringing ABA therapy to the children and schools that need it most. At VBA, you'll work 1:1 with students, help support their path forward, and build skills that will fuel your career in behavioral health - all while working a schedule you can count on.

Now hiring BTs to work in schools throughout San Juan Capistrano, Rancho Mission Viejo, Ladera Ranch, Aliso Viejo, Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Dana Point, and San Clemente.

What you'll do:

• Work 1:1 with children with special needs to build communication, self-help, social, and play skills
• Implement behavior plans designed by BCBAs, adapting techniques to each student's needs
• Track progress through behavior data collection and clinical notes
• Attend ongoing training to sharpen your skills and grow your ABA career

Pay & Schedule

• $20.00–$27.00/hour, plus paid drive time and mileage between sessions
• Consistent, school-day hours (typically 7:30 AM–3:30 PM)
• Part-time and full-time hours available; full-time starts at 30 hrs/week

Get certified while you work: We pay for your training and shadowing as you earn your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT®) certification, with direct support from BCBAs. Non-billable time, including training, is paid at prevailing minimum wage.

Experience working with children and/or disabilities is desirable, but not required. We hire experienced RBTs and those just entering the field. If you’re passionate about helping kids learn, we’ll give you the training and guidance to succeed.
