Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate's Degree is preferred.
• Experience with learners who have disabilities is preferred.
• Experience in elementary schools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops positive, effective relationships with learners and staff.
• Assists educators with routine classroom operation and daily activities.
• Provides skills instruction and behavior support under supervision.
• Supports health, personal care, and mobility per learner plans.
• Maintains compliance with Health Plans and Emergency Plans.
• Collects observable behavior data and reports to supervisor.
• Supervises playground and noon duties as directed.
• Assists with feeding and toileting when needed.
