Job summary

Amergis, located in Hallowell, ME, is seeking an Ed Tech - Education Technician II or III for a contract, full-time role. The position involves facilitating educational and behavioral services for children and adults with special needs, in collaboration with school professionals and behavioral specialists.

The role requires a high school diploma, 18+ age, and typically 30 USD/hour with a 35-hour work week. CPR may be required; TB/PPD and health requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years pediatric experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs.
• Collaborate with school professionals and behavioral specialists to achieve learning goals.
• Support teachers and therapists in implementing plans and data collection.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment and document progress.
