Job summary

School District 27J (Inc) seeks a Registered Behavior Technician Paraprofessional to support students with disabilities in a school-based setting. This role involves implementing behavior plans, data collection, and collaboration with the Behavior Consultant to ensure safe, inclusive learning environments.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and an RBT certificate. Experience with data collection, CPI knowledge, and bilingual skills are preferred, with a 4-day/9-month

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and be able to obtain RBT.
• Experience with data collection and behavior data reporting preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) helpful for communication with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing and monitoring behavioral programming for students.
• Collect data on behavior and report to Behavior Consultant.
• Supervise students on campus and during transitions to ensure safety and compliance.
• Modify instructional materials to support student participation; assist in data entry.
