Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or 60+ college credits preferred.
• Certification: Active RBT credential with BACB.
• Crisis Training: Current crisis prevention/de‑escalation training or ability to complete within 90 days.
• State Requirements: Virginia background checks and TB screening completed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct behavioral support and implement BIPs under BCBA supervision.
• Collect and graph data on target behaviors and skill goals daily.
• Maintain progress logs per district standards and assist with FBAs and IEP updates.
• Follow CPI/MANDT crisis procedures to ensure safety and de‑escalate when needed.
• Communicate with BCBA, teachers, and school teams; participate in IEP meetings when requested.
