Job summary

Easterseals of southeastern Pennsylvania is seeking a School-based Licensed Behavior Specialist/BCBA for a split-location role serving a Northeast Philadelphia charter school partner and our Philadelphia AP School. The role focuses on implementing Positive Behavior Support Plans, leading a team of therapy assistants, and ensuring high-quality data-driven services for children ages birth to 8.

Required license and a Master’s degree in a related field; BCBA/ABA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, Education, Behavior Analysis, Social Work, or a related field.
• Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or BCBA preferred.
• Pennsylvania Behavior Specialist License required.
• Familiarity with IDEA and IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Supervision: Oversee a team of behavior therapy assistants, ensuring effective implementation of Positive Behavior Support Plans that monitors treatment fidelity and accurate data collection.
• Behavior Support Planning: Develop and supervise individualized Behavior Support Plans, incorporating therapy, consultation, and family support to achieve behavioral and communication goals.
• Student Assessments & Plans: Conduct FBA for students receiving services, collaborating on IEPs and Progress Monitoring.
• Data Monitoring & Program Evaluation: Supervise behavioral data collection, assess student progress, and revise strategies as needed to support skill acquisition and behavioral improvements.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and timely records, including progress notes, Progress Reports, FBA and Positive Behavior Support Plans.
• Clinical Supervision & Training: Provide clinical oversite of Positive Behavior Support Plans, provide professional development to team of behavior therapy assistants and school personnel.
