Job summary

Neighborcare Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP/PA) for a school-based program at Ballard HS in Seattle, WA. This on-site, 0.8 FTE position supports a summer standby and is grant-funded.

The ARNP/PA will perform independent clinical duties, manage vaccines, labs, and medications, and coordinate care with the school health team. Requires WA ARNP license, DEA, board certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active ARNP license with Washington State Department of Health.
• Active DEA licensure and board certification.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to work across multiple Neighborcare Health clinic sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered preventative care and treatment for acute and chronic conditions.
• Room patients independently and perform essential clinical tasks (vital signs, vaccines, injections, phlebotomy).
• Coordinate care and referrals in a team-based setting with physicians and PAs/ARNPs.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and complete required paperwork timely.
• Respond to test results and communications promptly to ensure patient safety.
