Job summary

AISD is seeking an audiologist to deliver comprehensive audiological services to students at the Arlington Regional Day School Program for the Deaf (RDSPD). The role includes evaluations, reporting, and collaboration with parents and AISD personnel.

Responsibilities cover amplification/assistive technology, ARD participation, and staff training on equipment and hearing-loss implications for education. Licensure and credentialing are essential, with experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program.
• Texas State License in Audiology with jurisprudence exam proof.
• CCC-A or AAA fellowship preferred; Board waivers may apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audiological evaluations including pure tone air and bone conduction measures.
• Provide interpretation of assessment results to parents, guardians, and AISD staff.
• Complete AI/DHH eligibility reports.
• Evaluate hearing aids and assistive technology as requested by ARD.
• Participate in ARD committee and coordinate equipment calibration.
