Job summary

Clinton Community Schools is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to deliver comprehensive athletic training services for student‑athletes. You will collaborate closely with the Athletic Director, coaches, families and healthcare providers to promote health, safety and well‑being.

This full‑time, 11‑month position offers a flexible schedule aligned with the district athletic calendar, with benefits including medical coverage, PTO and paid continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• BOC certification as an Athletic Trainer.
• Michigan Athletic Trainer license or ability to obtain before employment.
• CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain before employment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with student‑athletes, parents/guardians, coaches and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive athletic training services for Clinton student‑athletes.
• Collaborate with the Athletic Director, coaches and healthcare providers to promote health and safety.
• Coordinate injury prevention, evaluation, and return‑to‑play decisions.
• Maintain accurate injury documentation and reporting.
• Assist in scheduling around the athletic calendar and workload.
