Job summary

The Grosse Pointe Public School System is seeking a qualified Athletic Trainer to provide contracted services at Grosse Pointe North High School through EduStaff. The service supports student-athlete health, safety, and well-being in collaboration with the Athletic Director, coaches, and healthcare professionals.

This is a full-time contracted role with a base salary of $50,000 per year, covering injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and return-to-play for designated

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• ATC certification from BOC.
• Valid Michigan AT license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement injury-prevention programs for coaches and athletes.
• Evaluate injuries and determine need for EMS or physician evaluation.
• Maintain confidential documentation of injuries, treatments, and return-to-play status.
• Provide coverage for practices, home contests, and other events.
• Coordinate with Athletic Director and school staff on schedules and safety plans.
