Job summary

Amergis is seeking an Athletic Trainer to evaluate and guide students in recovering from or preventing athletic injuries, while supporting optimal performance during school hours and after-hours events. The role focuses on preventing musculoskeletal injuries and promoting upstream care through early intervention strategies, in alignment with school district policy and procedures.

Job description

The Athletic Trainer evaluates and guides individuals in recovering from or preventing athletic-related injuries and illnesses, while supporting optimal physical performance, when applicable during school hours and/or after-hours school related events, according to school district policy and procedures. Their primary focus is on preventing musculoskeletal injuries and promoting upstream care through early intervention strategies.

Minimum Requirements:

• State Athletic Training licensure, certification and/or registration (All states except CA)
• Proficiency in therapeutic modalities and rehabilitations techniques
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
• Must have current CPR certification
• Must be at least 18 years of age
