Qualifications

• Proficiency in American Sign Language is required.
• Associates or Bachelors degree in interpreting, deaf studies or related field preferred.
• State Board of Education Initial Sign Language Interpreter Certificate, where applicable.
• EIPA certificate where state regulation or client requires.
• RID certification where state regulation or client requires.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
