Job summary

Saint Mary’s High School is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage payments, deposits, and student accounts within the school’s accounting systems. You will ensure accuracy in AR and cash handling while supporting families, employees, and departments.

You will work closely with the Accounting Manager to maintain GAAP compliance, reconcile accounts, and improve internal controls in a school environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of accounts receivable or related accounting experience.
• Experience with school or nonprofit financial environments is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and standard accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, record, and process payments and other funds.
• Prepare deposits and post cash receipt transactions accurately.
• Process tuition, fees, and financial aid in tuition mgmt and GL systems.
• Maintain AR records and supporting documentation.
• Respond to families and staff with timely financial information.
