Responsibilities include implementing behavior plans, documenting incidents, and assisting with PBIS strategies while maintaining a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Follow agency policies and procedures, and state/federal regulations for the school and students.
• Monitor student behavior and help maintain discipline in the classroom; record behavior data; assist with crisis prevention and de-escalation.
• Help implement behavior plans (BIP); record data and incident reports.
• Supervise students during non-instructional periods across school environments to ensure safety.
• Assist with PBIS universal components and Tier 2/3 strategies for selected students.
• Attend trainings and professional development sessions to enhance skills.
• Perform clerical duties including attendance, records, and preparing instructional materials.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to address student needs with input from parents, doctors, nurses, therapists.
• Monitor safety and wellbeing of students and encourage positive interactions.
• Perform other related duties as requested by teacher and principal.
