Job summary

Northern Rivers Family of Services in Albany, NY is seeking a dedicated Teacher Aide to support the classroom teacher with behavior management and student success onsite. You will monitor behavior, assist with PBIS, supervise during non-instructional periods, perform clerical duties, and participate in meetings and trainings to grow professionally. Requirements: High School Diploma.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm. Retention bonus of $1,500 is paid in two parts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to work with students who have serious emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Clerical duties and use of classroom technology may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teacher with behavior management and student success.
• Monitor behavior and assist with PBIS implementation.
• Supervise students during non-instructional periods (lunch, recess, field trips).
• Perform clerical duties and maintain student records.
• Attend meetings and trainings to enhance professional skills.
