Job summary

Amergis is urgently hiring School Behavior Classroom Aides to support students with special needs in K–12 classrooms. The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, reinforcing positive behavior, and assisting with personal care as needed.

You will collaborate with teachers and SPED teams, document observations, and implement feedback to improve daily practice. Weekly pay and a benefits package accompany the position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred.
• One (1) year of school experience preferred.
• One (1) year of experience supporting kids with disabilities.
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
