Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Aide to support instructional and behavioral needs of students under the supervision of the special education department and teaching staff.

The role may involve assisting with mobility and therapeutic care, with compliance to health requirements and state and federal regulations. High school diploma or equivalent and CPR where applicable are required.

Qualifications

• CPR certification (where applicable).
• CPR and health/safety awareness as required by state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

Job description

The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee.
