Job summary

Amergis in Connecticut is seeking a School Aide to support students requiring instructional or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department.

You may also provide support for personal mobility and therapeutic care needs as established by health professionals, with adherence to federal, state, and local requirements.

The role requires a minimum of a high school diploma, the ability to meet health and safety standards, and a willingness to be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate as required by contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
