The Sunshine House in Charlotte, NC is hiring a School Age Teacher and Bus Driver to inspire and care for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. You will implement engaging curricula, supervise safe transportation on field trips and school runs, and support families with progress updates through our app.

Part-time role with paid time off accrual and a strong benefits package, including health, dental, life insurance, 401(k), tuition assistance, and opportunities for advancement. Training is provided.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• NCECC certificate preferred
• Willingness to drive a 14-passenger minibus (no CDL required).
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, and work while standing.
• Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• BSAC training required.
• Previous experience as a teacher at a licensed childcare center required.

• Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Document and share with families the important milestones in a child’s day using our app.

Pay Range: $15.00-$20.00

Candidates with advanced education and experience in early childhood education may qualify for higher pay within the range. Regular increases are considered with additional education, stellar performance, and years of service.

• Complete safety checks and drills.
