Job summary

Treasure Kids Academy is seeking a part-time after-school staff member to support daily classroom routines and maintain a welcoming, organized learning space for children in Florida.

You will collaborate with teachers and assistants, help ensure safety and cleanliness, and model a positive, approachable attitude that supports kids in exploring and learning throughout the afternoon.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a child care setting or after school program is required.
• Background screening (Clearinghouse) is required.
• 45-hour Florida child care training is a plus but not required (90 days to complete).
• CPR and First Aid training is a plus but not required (90 days to complete).

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the daily classroom schedule in accordance with the curriculum.
• Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to explore and make decisions.
• Assist in keeping a safe, sanitary classroom environment.
• Assist in other capacities as determined by the Director or designee.
• Work with teachers and assistants inside the classroom.

JOB DETAILS:

• Assist in managing the daily classroom schedule in accordance with our curriculum.
• Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
• Assist in keeping a safe, sanitary classroom environment.
• Maintains overall professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines in our employee handbook.
• Assists in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary.
• Adhering to all Company, DCF, policies and procedures.
• Team Player.
• Must have a love for children and want to make a difference in a child's life.
• Friendly and Approachable.
• Working with Teachers and Assistants inside of Classroom.
  

Requirements:

• The position is Monday- Friday (Mandatory), 3:00pm - 6:30 pm (NO WEEKENDS).
• Must have Experience working in a Child Care setting or After School Program.
• Hourly Pay to be determined in Interview and based on experience/ education/etc.
• Must complete a Background Screening (Clearinghouse).
• 45 hour state of Florida child care training courses A + but not required (90 days to complete if you do not have).
• CPR and First Aid A+ but not required to have ( 90 days to complete if do not have).
