Job summary

The Learning Experience is seeking an Assistant Preschool / School Age Program Teacher to join our team. You will help create a positive, engaging learning environment for children and support our proprietary curriculum with school-age activities.

Responsibilities include implementing the schedule, collaborating with instructors, maintaining safety standards, and communicating with families about their child’s progress. This position offers growth opportunities and a pathway to advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required (ECE coursework preferred).
• Passion for education and child care.
• Ability to meet state licensing requirements for the role.

• Work with school age kids and implement school age schedule and perform STEM activities with them.
• Partner with other preschool teachers to implement our proprietary curriculum and engage children using our characters.
• Maintain quality compliance and health and safety standards throughout the daycare classrooms and programs.
• Collaborate with peers to create a welcoming and engaging daycare space for children.
• Communicate with parents and families, sharing updates through apps and discussions.
• Assist with after school care/school age program homework and STEM activities when needed.
• Prefer to help with school van transportation (non CDL vehicle).

As a School Age program Teacher, you will:

• Work with school age kids and implement school age schedule and perform STEM activities with them.
• Partner with other preschool teachers to implement our proprietary curriculum and have the unique opportunity to use our engaging characters to make TLE a fun place for children to learn, play, and grow.
• Maintain quality compliance and health and safety standards throughout the daycare classrooms and programs.
• Collaborate with your peers to create a great working environment and a welcoming and engaging daycare space for children.
• Communicate with parents and families, sharing their child's latest adventures and achievements through various avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
• Work with after school care / school age program kids in helping with their homework if needed, perform STEM activities etc
• Prefer to help with school van transportation (non CDL vehicle).
