Saddleback Valley Unified School District (SVUSD) is seeking an ELOP Site Coordinator (TLC after school care) for Rancho Canada in Mission Viejo, CA. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 10.75 months per year.

Key responsibilities include planning and supervising an on-site child care program, curriculum development, staff supervision, and budget management, with relevant education requirements and a CBEST or college units prerequisite.

Qualifications

• Pass required mathematics, reading and writing proficiency examination; or have two years of college (48 units) or an AA degree or higher; or have passed the CBEST.
• 24 Early Childhood Education units from an accredited college, or Child Development permit preferred.
• Must attach proof of: CBEST, 2 years of college (48 units), AA degree or higher, or district proficiency exam in mathematics, reading and writing prior to the posting closing date.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement, and supervise an on-site full-day, year-round child care program for school-age children.
• Responsible for curriculum planning and program administration, staff supervision and development, and fiscal responsibilities related to the site budget.
• Knowledge of child development principles and related regulations; maintain general computer skills including Microsoft Office and Macintosh applications.
