Job summary

The Saddleback Valley Unified School District seeks an ELOP Leader (TLC after school care) at Melinda Heights Elementary. This full-time after-school position runs 5.6 hours per day across two shifts (6:55–8:31 am and 1:45–5:45 pm), totaling 28 hours weekly over 10.5 months.

Qualifications

• CBEST is required or alternative qualifications met.
• Two years of college (48 units) or AA degree or higher.
• District proficiency exam in math, reading and writing required prior to posting closing date.
• 6 Early Childhood Education units from an accredited college preferred.
• First Aid and CPR cards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation of the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program.
• Plan, organize and conduct activities in line with curriculum objectives.
• Supervise TK-8 students and provide direction to student leaders.
• Work at Melinda Heights Elementary with fixed or flexible site schedule.
