Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our Before and After School Programs in Western, NY for the 2026–2027 school year.

Opportunities may be available for morning, afternoon, or both programs, with employer-paid childcare and a schedule aligned to the school day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required or at least 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while engaging with children.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academics, art, and homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

LOCATION: Western New York – Multiple Program Opportunities

PAY RATE: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule: Follows the school calendar. Typical shifts include:

• Morning Program: 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
• Afternoon Program: 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Opportunities may be available for morning, afternoon, or both programs.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
