Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our After School Program at Ellis Public School in Fremont, NH for the 2026–2027 school year.

Pay rate is $14.65–$18.00 per hour with a schedule following the school calendar. Position is part-time and non-exempt, with shifts 2:15–5:30 pm on school days. Candidates should love working with kids and thrive in a team setting.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13.
• Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB.
• Warm, friendly, upbeat with exceptional people skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art) and homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and serve as a positive role model for children.
• Observe state guidelines, program policies, and host school guidelines.
• Support program operations, including attendance records and staffing responsibilities.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13.
• Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB.
• Must be warm, friendly, and upbeat. Exceptional people skills, professional, reliable, and prompt.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and do whatever it takes to keep up with the children.
