Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our Before & After School Program at Mason Elementary School in Mason, NH, for the 2026–2027 school year. The role is part-time and non-exempt, with shifts in the morning (7:00–8:45) and/or afternoon (3:15–6:00) aligned to the school calendar.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred.
• Health clearance including TB screening as per state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands‑on activities following Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model.
• Observe state guidelines, program policies, and host school rules.
• Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
