Healthy Kids Programs is seeking School-Age Childcare Assistants for our Before and After School Program at Roaring Brook, Grafflin, and Westorchard Elementary Schools for the 2026-2027 school year in Chappaqua, NY.

Part-time, non-exempt position with programs offered morning, afternoon, or both, following the school calendar. Employer-paid childcare and a range of voluntary benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
• Required health clearance, TB screening, per state regulations.
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while engaging with children.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

LOCATION: Roaring Brook Elementary School, Grafflin Elementary School, and Westorchard Elementary School in Chappaqua, NY

PAY RATE: $17.00 per hour

SCHEDULE: Follows the school calendar

Morning Program: 7:30 - 9:00 am

Afternoon Program: 2:55 - 5:15 pm

Opportunities may be available for morning, afternoon, or both programs.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
