Job summary

Pittsgrove Township School District is hiring a School Age Child Care (SACC) Worker for the 2026-27 school year. This part-time position involves engaging with elementary and middle school children, leading activities, and providing care in an educational setting.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and be able to communicate effectively. Experience with children is preferred, along with CPR and First Aid certification. The role offers $16.50 per hour and requires availability in the mornings and/or afternoons.

The Pittsgrove Township School District is seeking qualified candidates to fill the following vacancy in its School Age Child Care (SACC) Program for the 2026-27 school year:

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status.
• Completion of Health/TB Test.
• American Red Cross Certification in CPR, AED and First Aid Preferred.
• Experience working with children under the age of 14 years and/or with a SACC Program preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with participants, parents, school/program administration and staff.
• Ability to lead activities for elementary and/or middle school age children including small groups.
• Ability to meet physical demands of working with children to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
• Available in the mornings and/or afternoons; up to five days per week.

Employment Terms: Ten (10) Months-Part Time

Effective Date: September 1, 2026

Salary/Benefits: $16.50 per hour

Reports To: School-Aged Child Care Director
