Job summary

The Pittsgrove Township School District is seeking a part-time School Age Child Care (SACC) Worker for the 2026-27 school year. The role supports elementary and middle school students in the morning and/or afternoon, up to five days per week, during a 10-month schedule and reports to the SACC Director.

Salary is $16.50 per hour. Applicants should have a high school diploma (or equivalent), strong communication skills, and be able to complete required background checks and health certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Criminal background check and U.S. citizenship/residency proof required.
• Health/TB test completion required.
• CPR, AED and First Aid certifications preferred.

• Lead activities for elementary and/or middle school children.

The Pittsgrove Township School District is seeking qualified candidates to fill the following vacancy in its School Age Child Care (SACC) Program for the 2026-27 school year:

SCHOOL AGE CHILD CARE (SACC) WORKER (Part-Time)

QUALIFICATIONS

1. High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
2. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident
3. Completion of Health/TB Test
4. American Red Cross Certification in CPR,AED and First Aid Preferred
5. Experience working with children under the age of 14 years and/or with a SACC Program preferred.
6. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with participants, parents, school/program administration and staff.
7. Ability to lead activities for elementary and/or middle school age children including small groups.
8. Ability to meet physical demands of working with children to successfully perform the essential functons of the position.
9. Available in the mornings and/or afternoons; up to five days per week.

Employment Terms

Ten (10) Months-Part -Time
