Job summary

Anne Arundel County Government is seeking a Full-Time, Permanent, and Safety-Sensitive School Age Child Care Director (Management Aide) in the Department of Recreation and Parks. Qualifications

• Completion of an associate degree from an accredited college.
• Two (2) or more years of experience as a licensed School Age Child Care Director.
• Substitution: up to two additional years of experience in lieu of an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Oversees varied group activity including educational, cultural, health, recreational and similar classes, activities, and programs.
• Tracks and monitors the status of a client population in support of program activities.
• Reviews work of supervised lower-level office staff.
• Compiles, organizes, and reconciles data to maintain reports/databases on program services and activities.
• Maintains statistics and databases on information relating to program services, activities, or participants.
• Performs data entry and utilizes office automation equipment to prepare records and correspondence.
• Answers inquiries from the public and businesses relative to program-related regulations and procedures.
• Serves as staff to boards and committees, providing support in technical program functions.
• Defines and interprets regulations and requirements to applicants, other agencies, and the general public.
• Establishes and maintains files and records in support of the program.
