Job summary

The YMCA is seeking an experienced professional passionate about bringing the best out in kids, connecting to our community and having fun!

Position is part-time, before or after school daycare program, with hours 7:00am-9:00am and 3:00pm-6:00pm at 3929 Mauch Chunk Road, Coplay, PA 18037. Pay is $15.50-$17.00 per hour. Candidates must be 18+, have 2+ years with children, HS diploma, leadership experience, and ability to pass clearances.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age and 2+ years working with children.
• 1+ year of leadership/supervisory experience in a child care setting.
• Ability to pass all relevant clearances.

Responsibilities

• Find new and engaging ways to help kids learn.
• Be patient and kind with parents.
• Assist the site director with day-to-day before/after school daycare tasks.
• Aid kids through activities, snack time and homework.

What is needed for this job

• 18+ years of age, 2+ years of working with children
• High school diploma or some college credits
• 1+ year of Leadership/Supervisory experience in a child care setting
• Passionate about working with children in a fun, diverse environment
• Ability to pass all relevant clearances
