Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Lead for our Before and After School Program at Pittsburgh Minadeo Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year.

Lead activities, support student growth, and ensure a safe, engaging environment following state and program policies. Morning and/or afternoon shifts align with the school calendar, with employer-paid childcare benefits and part-time, non-exempt status.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for school-age children in structured programs.
• Ability to manage groups and support social-emotional growth.
• Willingness to meet background and health screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities from Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, and homework.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and engaging environment and model positive behavior.
• Assist with attendance, registration, and staffing as needed.
