Job summary

The YMCA School Age Care Program is seeking a Program Staff (age 16+) to join our team in Rosemount, MN. This part-time role offers mornings 6:00am to 9:15am and afternoons 2:10pm to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, with no evenings or weekends.

You'll help create a fun, safe environment where kids learn, play, and grow, guided by the YMCA core values. A free YMCA membership and opportunities for growth are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 16.
• Complete required YMCA training courses within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to lead, plan, organize, and implement program activities.
• Good skills in communication, organization, and human relations.
• Willingness to work with diverse populations.
• Previous experience with school age children (preferred).
• Knowledge of CACFP program requirements (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with the writing and implementation of weekly lesson plans.
• Organize and lead activities suitable for school-age children.
• Ensure that the site is kept clean and organized.
• Maintain program records including incident reports, daily rosters, logbook documentation, and attendance records.
• Assist in completing child and program evaluations.
• Maintain CACFP and Minnesota Department of Health Licensing for meals and snacks, if applicable.
