Job summary

Catalyst Family is hiring an Assistant Teacher to support planning and implementation of programming for children from infant to school age at our Irvine locations. You will facilitate age-appropriate activities, support social-emotional development, and supervise children in a safe environment.

Your role emphasizes collaboration with staff, maintaining positive learning environments, and delivering quality experiences aligned with core center values.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in a group care environment with a consistent age group.
• Current CPR & First Aid certification preferred.
• Bilingual/multilingual ability based on center needs.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum linked to children’s interests.
• Maintain enriching, age-appropriate learning environments and experiences.
• Provide authentic, culturally responsive connections with children, families, and staff.
• Ensure children’s health and safety through supervision and positive interactions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality programs in a team setting.
