Job summary

Native Forward Scholars Fund is seeking a Scholarship Coordinator to manage the intake, review, and verification of student scholarship applications. You will prepare verified files and liaise with students and institutions to ensure paperwork is complete and compliant.

The role supports the Director of Scholarship Operations and aligns with the organization’s mission, values, and strategic direction. Travel and driving may be required as part of outreach and program delivery.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of scholarship policies and confidentiality requirements.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with reviewing and verifying student documents for compliance.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility for intake, review, and verification of all student-submitted scholarship application materials.
• Reviews documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with scholarship policies and program requirements.
• Tracks missing, incomplete, or incorrect documentation and follows up with applicants and institutions.
• Prepares complete and verified student files for final review and awarding decisions.
• Maintains knowledge of scholarship policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.
