Job description

OAG is seeking a Scheduling Systems Analyst to join our Central Scheduling Team (CST). This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex operational problems, working with data and technology, and finding smarter ways to get work done.

This role will help OAG modernize, automate, and centralize our clinical scheduling operations. We are looking for someone who is technically savvy, analytical, highly organized, and comfortable taking ownership of projects from problem identification through implementation.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert for QGenda and other scheduling systems.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual scheduling, reporting, and administrative processes.
  • Help standardize and centralize scheduling workflows across OAG’s hospital and ASC locations.
  • Build reports, dashboards, analytical tools, and automated workflows.
  • Analyze physician and APP staffing supply, demand, utilization, coverage gaps, and workforce capacity.
  • Support workforce forecasting, staffing models, contract reporting, and operational analysis.
  • Lead QGenda enhancements, implementations, configuration changes, and optimization projects.
  • Serve as a liaison between OAG and QGenda and coordinate resolution of system issues.
  • Lead scheduling, technology, and process-improvement projects from planning through implementation.
  • Develop standardized processes and documentation that reduce manual work and reliance on individual institutional knowledge.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, information systems, data analytics, project management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in project management, process improvement, business analysis, healthcare operations, workforce management, or a related field.
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn and optimize complex software systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large and complex datasets.
  • Experience building reports, dashboards, or automated workflows.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and project-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, identify problems, and drive solutions through implementation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience

Experience with QGenda or similar workforce scheduling software is strongly preferred. Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Power Query, SQL, Power Automate, APIs, or other analytics and automation technologies is also highly desirable. Healthcare workforce, physician scheduling, or clinical operations experience is a plus.

Who Will Thrive in This Role

We are looking for someone who naturally asks, “How can we make this process better, faster, and less manual?”

The right person will enjoy digging into complex workflows and data, identifying inefficiencies, and developing practical technology-based solutions. They will be comfortable working independently while collaborating across departments and will play an important role in helping OAG build a more centralized, automated, data-driven, and scalable scheduling operation.

OAG is an equal opportunity employer supporting an inclusive culture that promotes and values diversity. OAG's mission is to be the independent practice of choice for excellence in anesthesia. We hire to these values: Excellence, Independence, Stewardship, Teamwork, Integrity, and Belonging. These are the values that drive us and make OAG a great place to work.
