Job summary

Wasatch Labs is seeking a Production Scheduler in Utah to create and maintain daily and weekly manufacturing schedules. You will update plans based on material availability, equipment capacity, and customer priorities, release work orders in DEACOM ERP, and track progress with Monday.com.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
  • 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, scheduling, inventory control, or administrative support.
  • Experience with ERP systems is preferred; DEACOM ERP experience is a plus.
  • Experience using Monday.com or similar project management software is preferred; proficiency in MS Excel.

  • Create and maintain daily and weekly production schedules.
  • Update production schedules based on material availability, equipment capacity, and customer priorities.
  • Release and maintain work orders in DEACOM ERP; monitor progress and communicate changes.
  • Identify scheduling conflicts and escalate issues to the Production Planning Manager.

Company:Wasatch LabsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Production SchedulingAssist in creating and maintaining daily and weekly manufacturing schedules.Update production schedules based on material availability, equipment capacity, and customer priorities.Release and maintain work orders in DEACOM ERP.Monitor production progress and communicate schedule changes to appropriate departments.Help identify scheduling conflicts and escalate issues to the Production Planning Manager.ERP & Scheduling SystemsUtilize DEACOM ERP to create, update, and maintain production work orders.Maintain accurate production data, inventory status, and scheduling information within DEACOM.Use Monday.com to track production activities, planning projects, scheduling priorities, and departmental communication.Ensure production information remains accurate and up to date across all systems.Inventory & Material CoordinationMonitor raw material and packaging inventory needed for scheduled production.Coordinate with Purchasing and Warehouse teams regarding material shortages or delivery concerns.Verify that required materials are available prior to production scheduling.Assist in planning production around inventory availability.Production SupportWork closely with Production Supervisors to ensure schedules are achievable.Adjust schedules based on equipment downtime, labor availability, or production delays.Assist in prioritizing manufacturing orders to meet customer delivery requirements.Help maintain production efficiency while minimizing downtime.Communication & CoordinationCommunicate schedule updates to Production, Quality, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Customer Service.Participate in daily production meetings and planning discussions.Maintain clear documentation regarding schedule changes and production priorities.Escalate scheduling concerns that may impact customer commitments.Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate production planning records.Prepare reports regarding schedule adherence, work order status, and production progress.Verify production data accuracy within DEACOM ERP.Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency.ComplianceFollow all GMP, FDA, OSHA, and company policies.Maintain confidentiality of production schedules and customer information.Support compliance with internal quality systems and manufacturing procedures.Perform Other Duties as AssignedProvide planning and administrative support to Operations, Production, and Supply Chain departments as needed.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentPrimarily works in an office environment with regular visits to the manufacturing floor.Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer for extended periods.Occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds.Must be able to communicate effectively with office and production personnel.Manufacturing environment may include exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, scheduling, inventory control, or administrative support.Basic understanding of manufacturing processes is preferred.Experience with ERP systems is preferred; DEACOM ERP experience is a plus.Experience using Monday.com or similar project management software is preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.Preferred SkillsBasic understanding of production scheduling concepts.Ability to analyze production data and identify scheduling conflicts.Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.Comfortable learning new software and manufacturing systems.Customer-service mindset with a collaborative approach to supporting operations.Work Environment:This role operates in a dietary supplement production facility with strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
