Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking an experienced Scheduling Manager to support a major infrastructure project in Cincinnati. You will develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules across a large, fast-moving construction team, with a focus on Primavera P6 and critical path scheduling.

The ideal candidate will manage schedule analysis, time impact claims, risk planning, and provide clear scheduling updates to project leadership.

Qualifications

  • 6 to 10 years of project scheduling experience in heavy civil or infrastructure construction.
  • Strong Primavera P6 experience.
  • Experience with claims support and time impact analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain baseline, progress, and recovery schedules for the project.
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and project controls teams.
  • Use Primavera P6 to build, update, analyze, and manage project schedules.
  • Load schedules with resources, costs, sequencing, and key project milestones.
  • Perform critical path analysis, float tracking, schedule forecasting, and what-if scenarios.
  • Review project changes and evaluate schedule impacts related to cost, time, and sequencing.
  • Prepare time impact analyses and support claims, delays, and mitigation strategies.
  • Lead scheduling meetings and communicate updates clearly to project leadership.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc schedule reports.
  • Maintain version control and ensure schedule documentation is accurate and organized.
  • Identify schedule risks early and recommend practical solutions to keep the project moving.
  • Support contingency planning and help align project budget forecasting with schedule performance.

Position Summary

  • Strong Primavera P6 experience
  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred
  • Strong understanding of baseline schedules, progress schedules, recovery schedules, total float, critical path, predecessors, successors, constraints, and percent complete
  • Experience with claims support and time impact analysis required
  • Ability to analyze complex schedule changes and explain impacts clearly to project teams
  • Strong multitasking skills and comfort working in a large project environment
  • Able to make confident, timely, and fact-based decisions
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with large teams on complex civil construction projects preferred
  • Some travel may be required
