Job summary

Textron Systems is offering a 2027 Intern - Project Controls (Scheduling/EVM) in Hunt Valley, MD. You will assist in updating Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) across the program lifecycle, support progress tracking, and help ensure logic links and milestones remain accurate.

This paid, 10-week summer internship provides mentorship, training, and real project work across cross‑functional teams, with exposure to Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting, cost data integration, and program reviews

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management, Engineering, or related field (or <2 years of experience).
• Interest in project scheduling, data analysis, or project management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel experience a plus.
• U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) across the program lifecycle.
• Support schedule status updates by capturing progress, adjusting dates, and verifying logic links.
• Perform schedule analysis, including critical path reviews and milestone tracking.
• Assist in preparing Earned Value Management (EVM) reports, variance explanations, and baseline documents.
• Support integration of cost and schedule data for accuracy and consistency.
• Participate in program reviews, internal meetings, and audit/surveillance preparation.
• Collaborate with program managers, CAMs, schedulers, finance, and cross‑functional teams.
